Expert review of Camps Bay Beach
While I love Clifton , I really love Camps Bay because I don’t have to hike all the way up and down scores of stairs to and from the beach, umbrellas and cooler boxes in tow. This is a beach that’s really used – by dog walkers, families and bronzed sun worshippers and I love how cosmopolitan it is. I like that I can pick up pizza across the road and enjoy early supper with the sand between my toes or pop to any of the cocktail bars across from the beach for daiquiri-fuelled sundowners. There are loungers and brollies to hire and, if you’re lucky, there are masseuses hovering around too, ready to give a beach massage.
