This high-priced hotel in the new Time Warner complex has two main draws, spectacular views over the city and some of the very best service in town.
Location:
Located in the north tower of the Time Warner building, the hotel is steps from some of the city's best fine dining - Masa and Per Se are both in Time Warner and Jean Georges is close by in the Trump hotel. It's also a stone's throw from Central Park and a short walk to Lincoln Center. And it's right by the subway station.
Bedrooms:
Asian minimal with dashes of color keep your eye on the main event - gorgeous views of the park and glittering skyline from floor to ceiling windows. Ask for a corner room to feel suspended over the city.

Public areas:
Like most Mandarin Orientals, the lobby is formal and hushed, and so not the most cozy place to hang out.
Eating and drinking:
The restaurant and bar here have nice views but aren't outstanding. If you want to splurge head to Masa or Per Se instead.
Leisure facilities:
The leisure facilities here are a real centerpiece with a great spa - I particularly like the Thai yoga suite with deep soaking tub and indoor pool with a 6000 square foot fitness center.
Service:
